The Look

As you’ve probably seen some of my travel films, my style leans into that natural, vibrant, but filmic look. When I’m out capturing the world, I don’t want to slap a heavy look on top. I just want to elevate what real life is already giving me, make it pop, make it feel cinematic, but still grounded in reality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely, the tutorials are designed to teach you everything from scratch. Even if you’re new to color grading or DaVinci Resolve, I walk you through each step clearly and practically.

I take the time to explain not just what to do, but why each step matters, so you actually understand how to build a proper grade instead of just copying settings. This is genuinely the kind of resource I wish I had when I was starting out

You’ll need DaVinci Resolve 18 or later to use this system, it’s built entirely within Resolve’s node-based workflow.
Sorry Adobe and Final Cut user.

Yes, the PowerGrade and tutorials work perfectly with the free version. However, a few minor features like noise reduction are only available in the Studio version.

Yes — it works with footage from any camera. For best results, it’s ideal for cameras that shoot in LOG (like S-Log3, C-Log 3, F-Log 2, etc.), but it can still be adapted for Rec709 footage with some adjustments. I’ve included pre-made versions for the most common profiles, including:

Sony S-Log3

Canon C-Log 3

Blackmagic BMD Film Gen 5

Fujifilm F-Log 2

DJI D-Log

RED Log3G10 / REDWideGamutRGB

Panasonic V-Log

No, everything is built using native DaVinci Resolve tools. No third-party plugins are required.
